Terms of Service
Please read these Terms carefully before using The Local Link. By creating an account or booking a service you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
The Local Link, LLC ("we", "us") is a Los Angeles–based concierge service. We arrange dining, travel, Cybercab rides, wellness, home and personal services on your behalf. We are an arranger and intermediary; we do not own or directly operate restaurants, vehicles, venues or third-party providers.
2. Eligibility & account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use The Local Link.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Memberships
Membership tiers (Silver, Gold, Platinum) are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Memberships automatically renew on the anniversary of your initial billing date unless cancelled. Tier benefits, response times and request limits are as described on the Membership page at the time of purchase.
4. Bookings & estimates
Prices shown for individual services are starting estimates. Final pricing is confirmed in writing by your concierge before any third-party expense is incurred on your behalf, and may vary based on your specific requirements (party size, distance, partner availability, taxes and gratuities).
Some requests require payment of the estimated amount up front; balances or refunds are reconciled after the service is delivered.
5. Cancellations & refunds
See our dedicated Cancellation & Refunds policy. In short: memberships can be cancelled at any time and remain active until the end of the paid period. Booking refunds depend on the partner's own cancellation window — we will be transparent about this at the time of booking.
6. Third-party partners
Reservations, drives, accommodations and other arrangements are ultimately delivered by independent third parties. While we vet our partners carefully, we are not liable for their acts, omissions, delays or changes of policy. Any dispute with a third-party provider should be raised with us first and we will assist in mediating.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use The Local Link to arrange anything illegal, fraudulent, abusive, harmful to others, or in violation of any partner's terms. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any request and terminate any account that violates these Terms.
8. Confidentiality
We treat all member information as strictly confidential. We expect the same discretion in return regarding any private information about our partners, staff or other members that you may learn through the service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Local Link's total liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages.
10. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith discussion. Unresolved disputes will be submitted to confidential binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active members of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
